Notably, Switzerland and Japan were among these countries with existing regulatory frameworks in place. This finding suggests that the majority of countries have yet to implement specific regulations for stablecoins, indicating a lack of standardized oversight in this area. As the popularity of stablecoins continues to grow, it is expected that more countries will develop and enforce regulations to ensure the stability and security of these digital assets.
