This annual review assesses global risks, emphasizing specific challenges and evaluating the EU’s system resilience. Drawing from diverse sources, it aims to deliver current, unbiased insights into risks spanning geopolitics, climate change, health, economics, and democracy. The 2023 edition identifies 15 potential risks in the next decade, proposing 10 policy responses. It underscores the EU’s competence, emphasizing collaborative actions and innovative solutions across institutions and Member States to effectively address major shocks.
